You are all about empowering women and helping us to realize our goals and dreams. And you’re certainly doing that for me by helping to spread the word about “Land the Job You Love.”

Older workers bring with us a wealth of skills and experience and have much to contribute. Our wisdom, perspective, market knowledge, and more are valuable commodities that take years to achieve. We can’t let ourselves buy into the myth that we’re “less than” or “no longer desirable” due to our age. As you write with such elegance and truth in “Fifty is the New Fifty,” we’ve learned valuable life lessons by the time we reach our half century birthday. There’s no doubt about it, age truly is an advantage.

We just need to get the word out. In fact, we should borrow a page from the woman’s movement and unite once again as a female force on a mission. So shout it loud and shout it proud: feminism on the far side of fifty–you can’t get much feistier than that!
